Hello! Been a fan of your plugins running well behind the scenes for a while.

I am trying to figure out the process for whitelisting IP addresses. Is the article on PerishablePress about the BBQ Whitelist Plugin outdated now?

The links just redirect so I thought maybe the functionality has been restricted to Pro version only?

    P.S.
The reason I ask is for trying LiteSpeed’s image optimization which utilizes a QUIC.cloud API, but they recommend whitelisting a list of QUIC.cloud IP addresses for server firewalls and security plugins. Have you heard of other LiteSpeed/QUIC.cloud users whitelisting these IPs from your plugins?

    Cheers,
    Nate

    Hi Nate,

    Glad to help:

    1) “Is the article on PerishablePress about the BBQ Whitelist Plugin outdated now?”

    No, the information remains accurate/current.

    2) “The links just redirect so I thought maybe the functionality has been restricted to Pro version only?”

    Exactly which links are “redirecting”?

    3) “Have you heard of other LiteSpeed/QUIC.cloud users whitelisting these IPs from your plugins?”

Neither BBQ free nor pro versions blocks any IP addresses, so there is nothing to whitelist, IP-wise.

    Hello Jeff,

Thank you for clearing that up.

The article has hyperlinks with text “BBQ whitelist plugin” and “BBQ blacklist plugin” that look like it should take me somewhere when clicked (even to a on-page jump link). But I just noticed the Download section in the article, I missed that.

    Thanks again!
