Why does documents open in different ways?

    Why does PDF links open in different ways? On my work website http://www.sthlm.hjarnkraft.se every document is opened in a grey box “on top of the webpage” (almost like a lightbox). This does not happen with the same theme on my private webpage. There PDF:s open up on full screen or on a new tab if a choose that.

    How do I remove this grey box version on my work webpage? It is not connected to the theme since it works differently with the same theme in different websites.

    Either you are using a different browser to view each of your two sites or one of them is configured to handle docs differently (e.g. plugin). Different browsers open documents differently by default and can be changed in most browsers (e.g. in Firefox go to Tools > Options > Applications).

    If you want a consistent view for all users then your best is to install one of these:
