So that I can correct this, are you referring to the shortened URL using the default structure?
I mean instead of using the permalink like http://www.example.com/my-cool-post/ it uses http://www.example.com?p=123 as the link.
Ah, I see now. It’s supposed to use the shortlink to get maximum ‘tweetable’ sentences. On my test systems my shortlink function was already shortened by Jetpack so I had an issue initially understanding your question. I’ve added a default goog.le shortening which should shorten the links much more than just the permalink (?p=123).
