 * This will help you create footer widgets for Twentytwelve
    [http://wordpress.org/support/topic/theme-twenty-twelve-footer-widgets](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/theme-twenty-twelve-footer-widgets)
 * It doesn’t do what you asked for, it creates new set of widget area inside the
   footer.
 * I suppose doing this is better than enabling those 2 front footer widgets that
   come with the theme’s front page template, because creating new is better than
   overriding CSS that already set specifically for front page.

   functions.php on line 204
    please do you know, how can i fix it? i found this

 * Download a new copy of twentytwelve and replace the functions.php file with a
   new copy – via FTP or other file manager your host uses.
 * You should NEVER be modifying default theme files – but rather using a Child
   Theme instead – see:

 * A bit of clarification – download the new copy of the theme to your local computer–
   and then you’ll upload the new functions file using FTP or other file manager.

 * As mentioned here:
    [http://wordpress.org/support/topic/theme-twenty-twelve-footer-widgets/page/2](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/theme-twenty-twelve-footer-widgets/page/2)
   Go to here: [http://mywordpress.sterndata.com/2012/10/new-theme-twenty-twelve/](http://mywordpress.sterndata.com/2012/10/new-theme-twenty-twelve/)
   and download this Twenty Twelve Child Theme: [http://mywordpress.sterndata.com/wp-content/uploads/sds_2012.zip](http://mywordpress.sterndata.com/wp-content/uploads/sds_2012.zip)

 * Login to your webhost via SFTP, or FTP, or cPanel.
 * Navigate to this folder
 *     ```
       wp-content/themes/twentytwelve/
       ```
 * Look for this file inside that folder
 *     ```
       functions.php
       ```

 * Replace that file with this file
    [http://themes.svn.wordpress.org/twentytwelve/1.1.1/functions.php](http://themes.svn.wordpress.org/twentytwelve/1.1.1/functions.php)
 * Or go to this page
    [http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/twentytwelve](http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/twentytwelve)
 * and dl the whole theme, unzipped it, get that `functions.php` and upload to replace
   that one in the server.
 * When you got your site back, now make changes only to child theme.
