 * HELP, EMERGENCY!
 * Most widgets on most pages of my website are no longer displaying ever since
   the new widget block manager was released. Nothing else has changed. I get widgets
   on a few of my pages, but most of them are missing on most pages. I’ve gone through
   all of the widget settings, checked page template assignments, etc. I only use
   WordPress native widgets (with one exception) and themes. This is not happening
   on every page, but it is happening on most pages, and I don’t see any setting
   difference in the pages or widgets. As far as I can tell, this seems to be a
   bug related to the widget block manager. If this is not resolved ASAP, I’m going
   to have to roll back my website, and lose a few days of work.

 * This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins,
   and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable
   them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.
 * If you can install plugins, install and activate “Health Check”: [https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/)

   It will add some additional features under the menu item under Tools > Site Health.
   On its troubleshooting tab, you can Enable Troubleshooting Mode. This will disable
   all plugins, switch to a standard WordPress theme (if available), allow you to
   turn your plugins on and off and switch between themes, **without affecting normal
   visitors to your site**. This allows you to test for various compatibility issues.
   There’s a more detailed description about how to use the Health Check plugin
   and its Troubleshooting Mode at [https://make.wordpress.org/support/handbook/appendix/troubleshooting-using-the-health-check/](https://make.wordpress.org/support/handbook/appendix/troubleshooting-using-the-health-check/)

 * I deactivated all of my plugins, and the sidebar came back. I reactivated my
   plugins one at a time, and I was unable to reproduce the original issue. I guess
   one of the plugins just needed a reboot? I’m guessing it was Jetpack, as I use
   it for widget visibility, and this was an issue on many pages, but not all of
   them.
 * Anyways, it worked, and all seems well.

 * Glad its sorted 🙂

 * And it’s **[Moderated: explicit removed]** again. Visibility in Jetpack has set
   EVERYTHING to “Match all criteria”. I went through and unchecked everything,
   but that didn’t fix it. I installed the “Classic Widget” plugin, and everything
   is fine again.
 * Honestly, I didn’t like the new block editor, it’s very slow and apparently very
   buggy.
 * Again, I’m using the TwentySixteen theme and WP plugins, and yet here we are.
   It’s fixed only because I’ve effectively turned off the new block widget manager.
   😛

 * If the issue is related to Jetpack plugin, then I recommend asking at [https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack/](https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack/)
   so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.
 * OR, Jetpack support (**paid plan**) : [https://jetpack.com/contact-support/?rel=support](https://jetpack.com/contact-support/?rel=support)
