# Widget changes not applying

 * Hello. At the end of April I played around with my website (itrakon.de) just 
   to have some semblance of a homepage on show. Everything ran smoothly. Having
   returned to the website everything looks the same as I left it, but when I start
   editing the widgets, as I had done so before, none of my changes apply. Furthermore
   under the drop down sections none of my previously saved content (from my April
   adventures) appears.
    So I am in a bit of a pickle as I now can’t change anything.
   Any help would be greatly appreciated!! p.s. I am a complete beginner so need
   things simple!

 * have changed to 2012: no effect. the website itself still shows in the purchased
   theme. how’s that possible..?

 * Try switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside
   wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using [FTP](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients)
   or whatever file management application your host provides.
