 * Hi
 * I’m trying out the Events Calendar software to install on a website i’m working
   on and have an issue. When the widget is active to show an upcoming event, in
   the header on the top left there is a little widget with an icon that display
   FI05 in firefox and when I pass the mouse over it says Shift-click to edit this
   widget.
 * And i see this information when I inspect
 * <aside id=”tribe-events-list-widget-1-cl” class=”widget tribe-events-list-widget”
   title=”Shift-click to edit this widget.”>
 * Is this in the configuration to make it disappear or which file I have to edit?
 * Thanks

 * Hi [@buddhaqc1](https://wordpress.org/support/users/buddhaqc1/),
 * Thanks for stopping by and for giving The Events Calendar a try on your site–
   we hope you’re enjoying working with our plugin so far! 🙂 The “shift-click to
   edit” functionality described here is part of the WordPress Customizer API, not
   part of our plugin specifically. These edit tools will only display to logged-
   in users with administrator permissions, and they shouldn’t be visible to regular
   site users. That said, if you’d like to disable them, you can read more about
   how to do so [here](https://wpti.ps/functions/visible-edit-shortcuts-how-to-get-rid-of-them/).
 * I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other
   questions!

 * Hi Caroline, thanks for the answer, i’ll try to look into it in the code as described
   in the page but based on your explanation it’s weird then.
 * I see the icon i mentioned when i’m just browsing the website without being connected
   to my wordpress.
    With IE I don’t see it. With Chrome I see a small box. With
   Firefox I see a bigger box than with Chrome with the letters FI05
 * And I only see the icon if there is an event in the calendar

 * Hey [@buddhaqc1](https://wordpress.org/support/users/buddhaqc1/),
 * Thanks for using The Events Calendar, I’m happy to help.:)
 * This sounds like it may be a theme or plugin conflict. I recommend going through
   the steps [here ](https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/)
   to test for a conflict.
 * Let me know what you find out & we’ll go from there!
 * Best,
    Shelby 🙂
