# Widget problem

 * Hey guys,
 * Having a problem editing my widgets where I am unable to add, edit or remove 
   any widget apart from comments and search. Have done a bit of searching and have
   noticed that others are facing this issue. Tried the fix of going back to an 
   original theme and that didn’t resolve it.
 * Is there anyway to reset it?

 * what browser do you use to edit your WP back end?
    IE is bad for editing anything.
   Firefox or I use Google Chrome to edit everything.

 * Hi,
 * It should be due to theme problem you are not able to add widgets. Please go 
   to the default wordpress theme and have a check with widgets.

 * Thanks for the response Shane,
 * I have tried revereting to the default wordpress theme and the issue is still
   there, unable to add/edit/remove the 4 widgets (Links, Archive, Recent Posts)
 * Any other suggestions?

 * I still haven’t had a resolution to this.
 * Should I back up my entire blog then re-install wordpress? I think that’s the
   only way I can get it to work.
