Thanks for using my plugin. Currently the widget will only show the full content. I’m working on v1.2, no official release date yet, and the ability to select content or excerpt will be added. The WordPress excerpt limit is 55 words. I’ll also look at possible ways to limit the text shown.

i want to use the plugin but we have to show widget like slider that replace testimoianls ever 2-3 secn’s.

Would you prefer to limit the output in the sidebar by X number of words or by X number of characters?
words is alwayes better but you can add 2 options.
few weeks we cant wait, our customer need it tomorow install, and running, and only slider is missing in front now.
I would only offer one option, and I agree that limiting by words makes more sense.
With all due respect, I offer this plugin for free to the WordPress community, and while I’m happy to incorporate user feedback to make the plugin more useful, I don’t think it’s fair of you to put implied demands on my time because you are up against a deadline with your client. That said, it would seem you have 4 options available to you at this time:
- Pay me to for my time this evening to complete this enhancement for you ($75USD paypal link), I’m on EST
- Find another plugin that will meet your needs
- Wait until I have free time to finish the release (as previously noted, probably a couple weeks from now)
- Find someone else to make the enhancement for you if you cannot code it yourself
Whichever option you select is fine with me.
