# widget weirdness

 * I recently moved my site from being developed locally to a web host. Everything
   has gone relatively smoothly except for one big thing: Widgets seem broken.
 * Two weird things happening in the widget control panel:
 * 1) My text widgets have all disappeared, but the widget count seems to still 
   think they’re there (i.e. it says I’m using eight widgets, but only displaying
   four in the admin).
 * 2) When I try to add any widget and hit SAVE, it returns a blank page and doesn’t
   update the sidebar.
 * I’m stuck. Help!!!

 * Thanks, but I want to make sure that’s it before I wipe out all my widgets. Here’s
   another thing I noticed:
 * I can’t modify any widgets I currently have, or plugins. For instance, I have
   the postlists plugin to dynamically display some content on pages. It has no 
   settings anymore–all the lists I built are gone from its interface, and I can’t
   build new ones.
 * this feels a lot like when I try and mod widgets now.
 * Something larger seems to be afoot. Any ideas?
