There are two different ways to use the widgets in Lumière: 1/ The auto widget. All posts will have a widget automatically added according to the post’s title. Once the option is selected in the Lumière options, no more user action is required, everything is done automatically. 2/ The specific widget. It’s an important part of the plugin, glad it works for you. 1/ I’ve been able to make autowidget work on a wordpress.com environment( that I got yesterday 😃) using a theme from the same editor as yours but free. So it should work for you as well. A/ make sure to activate auto widget in advanced options (general options – advanced). Make also sure to active a lumiere widget in widget page (click on “widget unactivated” on the top menu, then on the wordpress widget page that is shown, select a place to put your Lumière widget, add a Lumière widget, edit the widget title if you want, save, and voilà! Need to look into it. As a temporary solution, you may disable the classic widget plugin, use gutenberg to add Lumiere widget, then activate again classic widget plugin. What seems not to work is displaying Lumière widget in admin, not the widget itself in frontpages. I’ll try to find a more convenient solution. * Regarding your question, there is now way to make sure that the movie you want specifically will be found. It does a query on IMDb website and retrieves the first result. Since the purpose of that functionality is to not inpit any data, there is no other way to do. Unfortunately, it doesn’t allow to use both the auto-widget and a specific movie in sidebars.
