 * it is possible to insert multiple widgets so there could be room for 6 instead
   of 3 it would be something I really could use on my blog?

 * I found out that, I can put as many widgets into the page just as needed. Therefore,
   it is not necessary to answer this question anyway.
 * Instead, I’d like to know if it is possible to have categories up under the main
   menu?
 * It would look much better and be nicer on the theme.

 * You can add Categories to your menu using a Custom Menu:
    [http://codex.wordpress.org/Appearance_Menus_Screen](http://codex.wordpress.org/Appearance_Menus_Screen)
 * If you wanted to create a separate, second menu, that would be more involved.
