Will replacing privacy plugin require new registrations?

    Having some problems with a plugin to make my blog private for family members, many people have registered and have login/passwords. Currently have Absolute Privacy plugin installed.

    If I decide to change to another plugin, Private WordPress, will the users all be forced to re-register? Or are the usernames and passwords all stored in the same place in a database away from the plugins?
