Will this work with with Modality Theme Slider?

Hi there! I really want to use this awesome plug in on my site and have videos as part of the slider feature on the home page. How the Modality Theme slider works is that you create a post, set a Featured Image and click the “Slideshow” category checkbox. I cannot figure out how to make the featured video plus plug-in work with the slider. It may not be possible, but if there’s a way I can get around this, I’d love to use it. Let me know if there is a way.
