 * Hi all,
    I searched this forum and also via google. More I read the threads, 
   more I got confused because I am a novice in all these HTML, php stuff. working
   hard to learn.
 * I already have a phpbbforum running in [http://www.mysite.com/forum](http://www.mysite.com/forum)
   
   I would like to use WP and install in [http://www.mysite.com](http://www.mysite.com)
 * THen I wish to create links like home, about, contact,forum on the main WP – 
   index.php page.
    So when somebody clicks on forum, it should point to [http://www.mysite.com/forum](http://www.mysite.com/forum)
 * I will also add similar links in forum header so that I can come back to home.
 * I would like to use the same template that I used in phpbb forum (conundrum 1.08-
   mikelothar.com) in WP for consistency.
 * Can this be done?
 * Please let me know in simple steps to start.

 * If you are a “novice” as you stated… there won’t be any “simple” steps. Just 
   what Churchill said to his people when the war started 🙂
 * In a theme you can have links to anything you want, including your forum.
    How
   to put a link in your forum to your homepage – it’s a question to be asked in
   the phpbb support forum.
 * You can design a theme that looks similar to whatever you posted (BTW, unless
   you make the URIs clickable I will not visit them; no time for copy/paste) – 
   there is a lot of good stuff about theme design:

 * I have only one database allowed. I am already using for phpbb. So for WP, can
   I create different tables with different prefix like WP_ while phpbb already 
   has phpbb_
 * So with one database can I have full functional WP?

 * Yes, you can have your WordPress tables in a database with other tables from 
   other software packages.

 * Sorry asking in bits: thought too many questions will put off people.
 * I am using conundrum 108 (www.mikelothar.com) template for phpbb and would like
   to use the same for WP. Is there a way to do that?
