    The plugin stores the data in it’s own meta fields, so it will not place any data in any other plugins fields automatically.

    Even though you may have selected ‘product’ and the ‘external’ category as you would for WooCommerce product, the plugin is literally just creating a post with that post type and category. Any other ‘happenings’ that normally are added via the WooCommerce plugin are only done when the product is created using that interface.

    I suggest using the plugin to create the basic product (using the ASIN) and then going in and editing the product via the normal edit screen, so you can add the needed fields.
