    Hi Again,

We are still loving your great plugin!! As we are a wholesale company we use the Woocommerce B2B plugin (https://woocommerce-b2b.com/) which adds a lot of B2B features to Woocommerce like for example a discount % for a customergroup and quantity steps for a product. Now we noticed that these extra features work on the frontend, but not in the POS system, we contacted the developer and he has a couple of questions about the POS plugin (see below) can you help us with this?

    My question:

For our offline customers who visit our wholesale physical shop we use a point of sale system (currently https://www.bizswoop.com/wp/pos/ ) only now we noticed that all the B2B settings are not working within the POS (like quantity steps, discounts etc). Is there a way to make this work?

    The developer answers:

I took a look to BizSwoop solution, but unfortunately there aren’t much technical information. Consider that WooCommerce B2B store its additional fields into meta fields, so I think you need to customize your app to get these informations, maybe with REST API, if it support them. Please, ask to BizSwoop support how to add custom fields to their plugin, if there are hook or API, for example, so I can help you to know where retrieve WooCommerce B2B informations.

Thanks for sharing all the background information on the request and comments directly from the developers of the WooCommerce B2B plugin.

Yes, the developers assumptions are correct, the POS plugin app uses the WooCommerce REST API for the POS app. As a result, any functionality or features need to be developed specifically for the POS app, unlike a Theme as you reference as the front-end. The POS app is basically a fully developed front-end for local selling. As a result, by default the POS doesn’t read or inherit any of the additional meta fields created by the WooCommerce B2B plugin. This is why you unfortunately will not see those options in the POS view.

Right now, there is no way to quickly solve that limitation and make the POS compatibility with the WooCommerce B2B plugin. If that was possible, we’d be happy to quickly add that support for you.

We have received similar requests to provide compatibility with other WooCommerce based plugins. Plus the B2B community is important to us. We do have plans to provide developer support to allow other developers to integrate Custom Fields from their plugins with our POS plugin app. This is a complex effort and will take time to develop this type of integration. I don’t have a timeline on when we might be able to support this effort, but if you want to continue checking in with us, I’d be happy to keep you updated. We’d roughly estimate having this type of functionality available later this year.
