# WooCommerce changes

 * Hi there, I’ve noticed that the product data cannot be edited. I’m unable to 
   make changes to product data since upgrading to the latest version. Could this
   be a clash with another plugin or an install problem, or have certain functions
   been disabled in the new versions? The functions are all displayed but when you

   This is the url that is displayed when clicking on edit.

    This kind of problem is usually caused by either a conflict with
   your theme or with another plugin.   The best way to determine this is to:
    - 
    - Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    - Repeat the action that is causing the problem

 * Hi Nicola,
 * Thank you so much for your reply. I will try it out. Tell me, if all else fails
   I would like to uninstall and install the plugin without losing data. How do 
   I go about doing that, as when you proceed to delete it, the message that pops
   up is “Do you want to delete the plugin with all its data?” There is no other
   option.

 * Hi there,
    The best way to upgrade a plugin without losing any data is to upload
   the files directly to the plugin folder via FTP or a file manager in your hosting
   dashboard.
 * For instance, to upgrade WooCommerce itself:
    - Navigate to `/wp-content/plugins`
    - Rename the existing `woocommwerce` folder to `woocommerceOLD`
    - Upload the `woocommerce.zip` file for the most recent version to `/wp-content/
      plugins`
    - Unzip the file to create a new `woocommerce` folder
    - Go to `Dashboard ➔ Plugins ➔ All Plugins` and activate `WooCommerce`
    - Initiate any database updates that are notified in the dashboard
 * The process is basically the same for any plugin you wish to manually update.
