    Hello

After Updating the Woocommerce plugin, the following error was shown:

WooCommerce Blocks development mode requires files to be built. From the plugin directory, run npm install to install dependencies, npm run build to build the files or npm start to build the files and watch for changes.

    Can someone help resolve?

    thanks!

    Hi @webqueenhtc ,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that after updating WooCommerce to its latest version, you encountered the above error message, is this correct?

Hmm, this is strange, and not something I am able to replicate on my testing site.

Could you please deactivate and deleted the current install of WooCommerce on your site and then download the plugin from here, and do a fresh install.

Just to add – deleting the WooCommerce plugin will not affect your WooCommerce data in any way, all orders, customer etc will still be there once WooCommerce has been reinstalled.

If the issue persists, please share the following:

    • System Status Report: navigate to WooCommerce → Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.
    • Fatal Error log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce → Status → Logs.
    • Screenshot: Please can you share a screenshot of where you are seeing this message being displayed.

Snipboard.io can be used for easily sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on that page, then paste the URL in this thread.

Once you have these, please share them in your response here.

Let us know how this goes!

Thank you so much! The error disappear after deactivated, delete and re-installed a new fresh WooCommerce. And thank you for letting me know that deleting WooCommerce does not affect the store data.
