    Hello everyone,

yesterday i was looking for a way to secure an email address on my website (right now on localhost) and i found this website which promises a Javascript to do so.
    http://www.bad-neighborhood.com/emailhashing.php

I was using this Javascript and everything worked well.
Today i was trying out something with my Woocommerce emails and a noticed that my “from” email changed (I did not changed it in woocommerce email settings and checked it. it was still the old one).

Fun Fact: The from email now is the email address i tried to secure with the Javascript and placed on my website. Used it there for the first time.

I would be very happy if someone would double check this Javascript generated on this site and
    1. Tell me if it´s safe to use and
    2. If this Script could have caused the change of my from Woocommerce email address.

    Thanks in advance

    Womme

    Hi there,

For more help with custom coding of this nature, we’d recommend getting in touch with a web developer, the web development community at large or one of the customisation experts listed at https://woocommerce.com/customizations/. The reason I’m mentioning this is that the forum here is only really geared towards support for the default features of the WooCommerce plugin itself.
