 * Good Morning/Night/Afternoon All,
 * To begin, I am comfortable with WordPress, HTML, PHP, and all that good stuff…
However, I have had little experience dealing with server/ssl configuration (
specifically taking an http site to https). I’ve been through the tutorial, FAQ,
and reading numerous other forums (HOURS :)…) So here I am…. at the mercy of
   the great support forum 🙂
 * In short, I am using a fresh WooCommerce (Theme is a WooTheme: Mystile), W3 Total
Cache (which I have completely disabled until I get this SSL issue figured out),
and of course the WordPress HTTPS plugin.
 * To see the problem compare:
   with [https://hardwoodindustryproducts.com/cart/](https://hardwoodindustryproducts.com/cart/)
 * It seems to me that the majority of unsecure elements are in fact enqeued, in
which case I believe this plugin should have set those to HTTPS …. unless I am
missing a major piece of the puzzle here.
 * The console is showing me that the GREAT majority of my insecure elements are
   being loaded via [http://mydomain.com/wp-content](http://mydomain.com/wp-content)(
also, wp-includes and my uploads folder).
 * I’ve tried changing the site and home url (this didn’t seem to fix url issue(
   s) at all. Tried the WooCommerce “Force SSL Checkout”… that hasn’t worked. This
all in addition to playing with the HTTPS plugin for ….I’ll just stick with “
   some time now” 🙂
 * Now, I may be crazy, but it seems that the HTTPS plugin may not be working properly.
While it will redirect the http to the https, I’m not convinced that the “Domain
Mapping” or the “Remove Unsecure Elements” are working. (I say this because I
have a console full of unsecure elements as well as some http requests from gravitar.
com (which is mapped to secure.gravitar) ). Any reason/cause known for this?
 * ** Also, one recent claim on this forum regarding Network Solution’s SSL and
WooCommerce not playing nice…. not sure what to make of that yet [http://wordpress.org/support/topic/woocommerce-plugin-1?replies=3](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/woocommerce-plugin-1?replies=3)
 * Some of the “Solutions” and “FAQ” pages I’ve been referring to:
   WooCommerce’s SSL Page [http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-secure-your-wordpress-pages-with-ssl/](http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-secure-your-wordpress-pages-with-ssl/)
[Yoast SSL Setup](http://yoast.com/wordpress-ssl-setup/) And of course the HTTPS
   plugin forums/faqs
 * While originally I was planning on only securing the checkout page, after much
research I would just as soon secure the entire website (it is an e-commerce
   website after all).
 * My apologies for the rambling. Any advice, tips, or words of wisdom will be MUCH
   appreciated. Thank you in advance.

 * Thanks for the info. It was really useful.
    After finishing my theme’s customization,
filling products into the Woocommerce installation, tweaking and fixing all possible
bugs, for desktops displays, tablets, mobiles, etc… Now I purchased an SSL cert
and noticed the checkout (under https_ is displaying unsecured theme’s images.
After testing different Wocommerce themes, I found out the most of theses themes
who allow admin to set images from the “theme’s setting panel”, will end displaying
those images (the site’s logo or the fav icon, for instance) unsecured with http
   protocol only. Thanks again!
