woocommerce issue with back forward browser cache

hi

woocommerce have an issue with the back forward cache of the browsers

its happening in all woocommerce sites i checked a lot of sites and themes demos like (flatsome, savoy, and more)
its happens to me only when browsing from chrome in android. when checked with firefox(android) its not happning.

the issue is when you add an item to the cart and go back in the browser you can try more back the mini cart will be empty no data there. its happen from the mini cart in the header not in the cart page.

Thanks for reaching out.

I tried but was not able to replicate the same behavior on my test site which is running on a basic setup of the latest versions of WordPress, WooCommerce and the Storefront theme.

That hints that the issue could be with Chrome and not WooCommerce.

To be specific, it is a browser related issue.

yes the issue is coming from chrome.

i checked it with other platforms not just with woocommerce and it happens with all of them

hope they fix it.

Hello,

Sorry to hear about that.

Did you try again using an incognito window of your browser? Or does it has the same behavior even using an incognito window?

Have you tried a different browser for example Chromium?

What happens when you clear the cache as mentioned earlier by Margaret? Does the issue persist?

Hi just wanted to jump in on this. I’m also having this issue. Seems to only affect Chrome. Issue reported here: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/32454
