 * Hello everyone,
 * I’m encountering some serious performance issues with my website when the WooCommerce
   plugin is active. Even with only WooCommerce enabled, I’m experiencing slow loading
   times, and I’m unable to create or update pages or products. The website becomes
   unresponsive for about 5 minutes after attempting these actions, across different
   browsers.
 * I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the WooCommerce plugin, but the problem
   persists. I’ve also checked server resources and error logs and this is the error:

   ModSecurity: Warning. [Rule: ‘REQUEST_FILENAME’ ‘@rx (?:.htaccess|.(pht|phtml
   |php\d?|txt|md|shtml|xml)$)’] [id “0000000”] [msg “IM360 WAF: Track access attempt(
   WP folders)!||SC:/home/domain.com/public_html/wp-admin/admin.php||MV:/wp-admin/
   admin.php||WPU:username||T:LITESPEED||”] [severity “NOTICE”] [tag “wp_core”] [
   tag “noshow”] [hostname “domain.com”] [uri “/wp-admin/admin.php?page=roles&action
   =edit&role=administrator”] [unique_id “00000000000”], referer: [https://domain.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=roles&action=edit&role=administrator](https://domain.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=roles&action=edit&role=administrator)
 * Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot and resolve this issue would be greatly
   appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!

 * Hello [@koda113](https://wordpress.org/support/users/koda113/),
 * I’m sorry to hear about the performance issues you’re experiencing with your
   website.
 * The error message you provided suggests that the issue may be related to ModSecurity,
   a web application firewall that runs on your server. It appears that a rule in
   ModSecurity is being triggered when you try to perform certain actions on your
   website, which may be causing the performance issues.
 * Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and possibly resolve this issue:
    1. **Contact your hosting provider:** They should be able to assist you with ModSecurity
       issues. In particular, ask them to check if there are any ModSecurity rules
       that are being triggered excessively and if they can be adjusted or disabled.
    2. **Disable ModSecurity temporarily:** If your hosting provider allows it, try
       disabling ModSecurity temporarily to see if this resolves the performance issues.
    3. **Check for conflicts:** Although you’ve mentioned that the issue occurs even
       with only WooCommerce enabled, it might be worth checking for conflicts with
       your theme or other aspects of your WordPress installation. You can do this
       by temporarily switching to a default WordPress theme (like Storefront) and
       disabling all other plugins.
    4. **Increase server resources:** If your server is running low on resources (like
       memory), this could potentially cause performance issues. You might want to
       consider upgrading your hosting plan or optimizing your website to use fewer
       resources.
 * Just to clarify, we had a detailed blog post on, which seems to have been fixed
   with updating WooCommerce to the latest versions.
 * I hope these suggestions help.
 * If you continue to experience issues, please share your System Status Report,
   which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.

 * Hi [@helendevs](https://wordpress.org/support/users/helendevs/),
 * I suggest that you [start a new thread](https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/#new-topic-0)
   with your case, so that we don’t mix several troubleshooting sessions in one
   thread. Even if the symptoms are the same, perhaps the underlying problem is
   different in your case.
