# woocommerce – post smtp – problem with encoding

 * dear haet,
    i have installed woocommerce, wp html mail/woocommerce and post smtp.
   it all works fine, but sometimes we have a problem with the woocommerce processing
   mails: all the special characters are broken. this happens approx 2 mails on 
   100. i can not reproduce this issue, so it s difficult to say what triggers this
   problem.
 * post smtp has a log file, but the “broken” mails are not appearing in the log
   files. in the header we can see that they are sent through smtp though
 * in the mail the encoding is different, for example “Grösse”
    in broken mail: 
   Gr=C3=83=C2=B6sse in right mail: Gr=C3=B6sse
 * do you have any advice on this issue?

    This should
   be solved with todays update but I’m not 100% sure because it only happens on
   a few installations and only sometimes so it is really hard to reproduce. If 
   it still happens please keep me updated. best regards, Hannes
