    Hello,

I’m experiencing a persistent, intermittent issue where the WooCommerce Shop page shows zero products, even though all products still exist and are published. I have seen this appear on the forum before but have been unable to find a published answer that resolves the issue.

    Here are some important clarifications:

    • This affects the Shop page only. (as well as inside the Shop page editor)
    • Category pages continue to show products even when the Shop page is empty.
    • Products always remain visible in WP Admin → Products.
    • One single time I observed products briefly appear, then disappear — this has not been consistently reproducible.

    What I’ve tested:

    • Multiple themes:
      • Blocksy → Shop page intermittently empty
      • Storefront (staging) → Shop page always works
      • Astra (staging) → works
      • Astra (live) → Shop page empty again
    • Caching:
      • LiteSpeed plugin uninstalled (uninstalled prior to staging tests)
      • Hostinger cache disabled (as much as allowed)
      • No CDN / Cloudflare
    • Plugins:
      • I have already tested with all non-essential plugins disabled and the issue still occurred
      • Plugins have been re-enabled for normal site operation (again, prior to staging testing)
    • WooCommerce:
      • Cleared all transients
      • No custom shop templates
    • Elementor:
      • Shop page is NOT built with Elementor (theme-driven)

    Hosting: Hostinger
    WooCommerce: latest
    WordPress: latest

As I say, I’ve seen multiple unresolved threads describing this same behavior, often marked “resolved” due to inactivity rather than a fix.

At this point I’m trying to determine whether this is:

    • a WooCommerce query/transient issue
    • a hosting-level caching interaction
    • or possible WooCommerce data corruption

I’d very much appreciate any assistance you can give me with this.

    Specifically:

    • Are there known issues with shop queries returning empty results?
    • whether a WooCommerce reinstall (with CSV export/import) is advisable

One very important note: this issue is intermittent. It is very possible that when you visit the Shop page, products will appear normally. For example, earlier today the Shop page showed zero products; at the time of writing, products are visible again. No settings or changes were made between these states. The issue appears to resolve and recur spontaneously.

    Thank you very much,
    Brian (Ositos English)

    Hi there!

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I have looked into this and found that there is a known issue related to this behavior. It has been addressed by our developers and the fix is scheduled to be included in the next release, WooCommerce 10.5.0, as mentioned here: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/pull/61788

I would suggest waiting for the next version release, as this issue should be resolved in that update.

Thanks for confirming! That aligns exactly with the behavior I’ve been seeing. I’ll wait for 10.5.0 and test once released. (And nice to know I’m not alone in this).

    Hi Alex

Yeah, the Woocommerce updates did not resolve the issue so my permanent solution has been to rebuild the shop page entirely with Elementor and a product query using the shortcode widget in order to bypass the issue entirely. (for example, my shortcode: “[products limit=”18″ columns=”3″ paginate=”true”]” ) Note: you can customize the display using various parameters to show specific items, such as featured, on-sale, or top-rated products. Hope this helps.

    Hi there,

Thank you for sharing your workaround and for taking the time to explain how you rebuilt the shop page we really appreciate you posting this solution, as it may help other users facing the same issue.

Our developers are actively working on this issue, and we’re hopeful that a proper fix will be released as soon as possible. At the moment, however, there isn’t an ETA we can provide for when the fix will be available.

    Hi @alexdigital40140,

It is great to hear that the temporary workaround shared earlier is working well for you, and I appreciate you taking a moment to confirm that on the thread.

Our developers are still actively working on a more permanent fix for this behavior, so your confirmation helps reinforce that the workaround is a reliable option in the meantime. We will continue to share updates as soon as more information becomes available.

If you notice any changes or have additional observations while using the workaround, feel free to share them here, as that can be very helpful for ongoing investigations.
