VAT isn’t calculated on products, just on shipping.

I have made sure and enabled config the settings correctly and the shipping rates.

    Please see attached.

Initially the database table wasn’t populated correctly, so I did that myself in the db please see screenshots – however without any results.

I have also found something on the internet that said go to woo-status-tool-delete tax tables -> i’ve also done that (prev to that i deactivated all plugins, activated twenty seventeen theme) saved, deactivated woo and reactivated but again without any success.

    nothing seems to work…..please help.

    Hi there @csavulescu!

Yes, by default, the table that you displayed in your screenshot (https://prnt.sc/l8s5ss) will be empty. It looks like you successfully added a 20% tax rate to that table (which will be applied universally – *, so it will match any address that is entered).

I see from your other screenshot (https://prnt.sc/l8s5x1) that you have selected to enter prices inclusive of tax. This means that the prices that you enter for products in your store already include tax, so tax will not be added to those prices.

If you want the 20% tax to be added to the prices that you enter, you will need to change that setting to “No, I will enter prices exclusive of tax”. This is explained in the documentation here:
    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/setting-up-taxes-in-woocommerce/#section-3

    I hope that helps!
