 * Is it just me or has upgrading to 2.5.1 been a complete memory disaster?!?! My
site is constantly getting exhausted memory errors ALL the time now with the
   same plugins, etc.
 * Why it is using so much memory to do such simple tasks??? This is horrible and
I would suggest not upgrading till they fix the absolutely terrible memory usage.

 * Most likely a plugin. Are you using Google XML Site Maps? If so read this [http://wordpress.org/support/topic/171865?replies=7](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/171865?replies=7)

 * I’m getting the same problems. It seems that no one has the answer. I’m either
been told it’s a theme issue, plugin or that i should upgrade my hosting package.
I’m using the same theme as before, same plugins and don’t feel I should upgrade
my package, paying 4 times as much each month just so I can keep running the
   same cms!!!!!
 * I’ve even downgraded my pages, turned off the static page function and removed
loads of plugins, but still , i get the memory issues!
 * Upgraded my other site today from 2.3 to 2.5.1 and all the memory issues are
now effecting that site, whereas they weren’t before the upgrade.
