# WordPress 2.6 Server change Problem!

 * Hello ,
    I have just changed the hosting for my blog and I see a blank page after
   installing and updating my blog to 2.6 . I were using version 2.5 before changing
   host . URL of my blog is mentioned , I need help to restore my blog , help will
   be appreciated forsure ! Blog URL: [http://www.blankdiscmedia.com](http://www.blankdiscmedia.com)
 * Step I followed :
    First of all I downloaded the database file from my old host
   using PMPMYADMIN section . Then I installed a new blog on my new host using auto
   blog installer , then I replaced the database file ,after that I opened [http://www.blankdismedia.com/wp-admin](http://www.blankdismedia.com/wp-admin)
   and I found an updrade request , I upgraded the blog successfully and then redirected
   to this link (www.blankdismedia.com/wp-admin),after that when I open main page
   then it was completely blank, I can login to [http://www.blankdiscmedia.com/wp-admin](http://www.blankdiscmedia.com/wp-admin)..
   all the posts are things are there but when I open the main page it shows an 
   empty page , can someone help ?

 * Whole site and blog was moved by my webmaster to a new server months ago. All
   appeared to be fine. I was able to blog without trouble.
 * Today, for the first time, I was attempting to upload a small image, in PDF format.
   I browsed to the file. Then I hit “Upload”. Didn’t work. Got the following:
 * Unable to create directory /mnt/target03/356316/357031/www.tianodesign.com/web/
   content/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/07. Is its parent directory writable by 
   the server?
 * What’s going on? How to fix?

    chmod /wp-content and /uploads and all folders under it to 777.
   This should only have to be done once (on most hosts) then chmod back to 755 
   and should work from then on.

 * Hi, I just moved to a new hosting company (Bluehost)and I am having problems 
   with the pictures. Before moving I had the version WP 2.5 and everything worked
   perfectly. After moving and making the new databases etc ,etc I have updated 
   WP to the latest 2.6 version.
 * Now the problem is that the photos/images in the posts AND in the WP dashboard
   are broken/cut or not to be seen. See these screenshots to see what I mean.

 * I fixed that. It was a FTP problem, I had to upload the whole WP files and pictures
   as binary.
    Now works.
