# WordPress 2.9 importing issues

 * Every time I import my 200kb wxr file the browser times out. All my directories
   have the right permissions, as folders are created for it to go in. I have extended
   the php run time in my php.ini, yet the problem purists
 * Can anyone help?

 * WP allows 8 mB. But servers can time out. Is your file really 200 kB? That is
   quite small and should seldom lead to a time-out.
