# WordPress 3.1 ShortCodes error

 * Hi.
    I have installed last version of wordpress [3.1]. Everything was ok. Till
   i want to post an article than i saw that error. This error doesn’t appear on
   3.0.5. It’s an shortcodes error. On add article are only those by “default” and
   this is not right because i have some personal shortcodes. Ok. That was the english
   version for 3.1. After this i installed version 3.1. in romanian. I deactivate
   all plugins, i activated again. I change the theme. I put that from default. 
   Personal shortcodes doesn’t appear. I use than “Post Editor Buttons”. Nope, not
   working. So, next i have installed again 3.0.5 and all my shortcodes are good
   now.
 * Do someone know what is going on with 3.1 on my server ?
 * P.S. I reupload all files [in case that one of them didn’t upload right]. Doesn’t
   work.

 * It sounds like you have a problem with your specific shortcodes.

 * 1.No. is not a problem with that specific shortcodes. Are functional.
    2. if 
   was a problem with that shortcodes why with the default theme [that from wordpress
   3.1] and with “Post Editor Buttons [wich is functional to]” not working ?
 * I though to, that is my theme, but today i made so many tests and is not.
 * In 3.0.5 is complete functional.
 * Those personal shortcodes and one from Post Editor Buttons.

 * All of the default WP shortcodes work for me. Plus others from plugins (for example
   Contact Form 7 & eShop). So it’s not a WP core issue. You’ve deactivated all 
   plugins, so it’s unlikely to be a plugin issue (althogh you could try [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause
   problems.)
 * That just leaves your theme – which I assume also holds your personal shortcodes.
   Sorry but it’s just a process of elimination.

 * esmi. all default shortcodes work good. But my personal shortcodes does not appear
   and neither from plug in Post Editor Buttons.
