# WordPress 3.3 -problem editing posts (update button not working)

 * I seem to be having trouble editing posts and even posting new posts as the publish
   button and update button don’t seem to do anything when I click them. When I 
   click again, my typed up post disappears and, it seems to says “undefined”. Is
   there a solution to his problem? This has happened once I installed the update.
   anyone else having the same problems? Did I mess something up?

 * Have you tried:
 * – deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause
   problems.
 * – working through the solutions listed in [http://wordpress.org/support/topic/troubleshooting-wordpress-33-master-list](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/troubleshooting-wordpress-33-master-list).
