# WordPress 3.8.3 cannot activate plugin

 * I installed version 0.5 of EasyShipper and got the following error during activation
   of the plugin
 * Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home1/tmodesig/public_html/
   BSC/wp-content/plugins/easyshipper/easypost_shipping.php on line 54
 * Do you have any ideas on potential solutions? Any help would be much appreciated.
