# WordPress 5.6 Admin access problems

 * ​Hii! Just wanted to ask a concern.. I couldn’t access the website I’m creating
   now and so I tried updating WordPress to version 5.6 but it still didn’t help
   and I think only got worse because now I can’t click anything from “Good layers”
   tab, which I believe is a plugin that’s part of my chosen theme and that just
   happened after updating WordPress to version 5.6. I’ve already cleared my cache
   too.
    Hoping for anyone’s help for this. Thanks!

 * Hi, marquiuae, please try using the “Health Check” plugin: [https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/).
   In the troubleshooting tab, you can disable all plugins and have the theme changed
   while logged in; visitors will see the website as if the plugin(s) and/or theme
   wasn’t changed.
 * After installing it, try changing the theme and initially disable all your plugins–
   and after, turning them on one by one – to determine what the cause of the problem
   may be.
 * I’m assuming that the issue is not with being able to access the WordPress admin,
   but instead, the front end, correct?
 * Your WordPress login page still seems to be accessible, so I am assuming is not
   an issue with logging in.

   thanks for the prompt response. 🙂
    Initially, issue’s that I couldn’t access
   both admin and non-admin front-end part of the website. Like okay it’s loading
   but is just literally showing that pre-loading gif I activated through one of
   the plugins from the theme I’ve been using(good-layer plugin) and then that’s
   about it. I tried clicking edit page and it also won’t load like it’s just a 
   blank page.
 * So I tried deactivating and reactivating all plugins but it didn’t work then 
   I came up to conclude that maybe it’s the WordPress version compatibility since
   i’ve updated all plugins. Now the good-layer(plugin) tab from the admin panel
   is not working too, I think with this updated version of WordPress. 🙁

 * Just an update about this (again)
 * I still can’t click anything from Good-layers Plugin Tab (and pretty much anything
   from Envato Market Tab which goes for my default theme)
 * And I thought I was able to make it work but lol. I’m not sure if I was able 
   to make the website up again though.
    TBH, not quite sure too if it has something
   to do with the theme troubleshooting I did because I was sort of literally trying
   everything a little while ago out of despair.
 * I think it’s not the plugin deactivation and reactivation hahaha gosh I think
   i’m losing my mind over this
