# WordPress Attack Protection

 * I am having trouble logging into my dashboard. I usually have the WordPress Attack
   Protection where you need to type the username and solve the math. It pops up
   in a box usually but now the box is gone and there is a blue background only.
   How can I solve this problem? It works on my main website but not on this one.

 * If the issue is caused by this security plugin, you can try to temporarily disable
   the plugin.
 * Since you are not able to login to your dashboard, you can disable the plugin
   through FTP. Simply login to your site via FTP, navigate to the plugins directory(/
   wp-content/plugins) and rename the plugin, for example from “plugin_name” to “
   plugin_name.disabled” and then try to login to your dashboard again. If the issue
   remains, you can continue disabling your plugins, one by one, until you find 
   the one causing this problem.
 * You may also want to make a full backup of your site before doing any of this.

 * The plugin’s folder is `/wp-content/plugins/wp-limit-login-attempts/` and there’s
   some JavaScript/jQuery conflict that’s causing that.
