# WordPress audio player feature request

 * Hello,
 * I’m interested in creating a custom function which would make a Post with an 
   audio embed advance to the next post in a Category. So, a user plays a track 
   in one post, and when the track is finished, WordPress automatically advances
   to the next post in the same Category. Each post would be set to auto-play, and
   thus, a user could click once on a Post, read the content while listening, and
   sit back and read and listen as the posts auto-load in sequence.
 * I had a hack working some time ago with the old Yahoo Media Player, which did
   exactly that. The problem with that was that Yahoo Player didn’t work on Mobile
   devices. And now that Player is orphaned/discontinued anyway.
 * Curious if anyone might have suggestions as to what Hooks or Functions would 
   be used, and (Hail Mary!) how to accomplish this within WordPress, using the 
   WordPress audio player.
