 * Hi
    Is this plug-in still OK? I can’t find any links to it in the plug in page,
   and am wondering if there are any issues with it with WP 3.1.3 or later? I always
   found it very convenient, but not entirely perfect.

 * I can’t find it in the official plugin database, and it might be because the
   plugin hasn’t been updated in a long time. For example his site at:
 * [http://techie-buzz.com/wordpress-plugins/wordpress-automatic-upgrade-plugin.html](http://techie-buzz.com/wordpress-plugins/wordpress-automatic-upgrade-plugin.html)
 * Was last updated on that topic many years ago and talks about WP version 2.7.
   If you look at the newest comments on that page nothing is showing up too.
 * What version are you trying to upgrade?
 * Thanks, Ben

 * Thanks Ben,
    I’ve used that plug-in to upgrade my sites for several years, as
   I’ve previously had trouble updating WordPress. Is there a need at all for a
   plug-in like this. Is the built in updater OK. I certainly remember it having
   issues, that’s why I originally found that plug-in and ostensibly why it existed
   in the first place.

 * Gotcha, we built a web app that will keep WordPress auto upgraded so you don’t
   have to do anything too -> [http://www.webpub.com](http://www.webpub.com)
 * It pushes the updates out within 24 to 48 hours too,
    Thanks, Ben

 * Does it also backup the database before upgrading? I couldn’t see anywhere about
   backup..

 * It doesn’t currently, we have the feature turned off for beta. We are going to
   turn it on as well as snapshots for in 30 days when it exits beta.
 * Thanks, Ben
