# WordPress Beta Testing plugin won’t upgrade automatically

 * I set up a 2.8.4 version of WordPress at wp.syncbox.com to start testing in the
   beta program. I installed the suggested plugin (WordPress Beta Testing) and activated
   it (no issues)
 * So… I went to the Beta Testing tool page and it is set to use the Point Release
   Nightlies
 * But when I click the “Head over and upgrade” link and then try to use the Update
   Automatically, it fails:
 * **Downloading update from [http://wordpress.org/nightly-builds/wordpress-2.8.4-latest.zip](http://wordpress.org/nightly-builds/wordpress-2.8.4-latest.zip).
   
   Download failed.: Not Found Installation Failed
 * Suggestions? It SAYS there’s a new version, but then won’t update… did I do something
   wrong or fail to do some extra step?

 * Note also that the link for downloading manually ([http://wordpress.org/nightly-builds/wordpress-2.8.4-latest.zip](http://wordpress.org/nightly-builds/wordpress-2.8.4-latest.zip))
   fails, going to a “not found” page.
 * Perhaps the plugin has issues? Anyone know?

 * I guess the fix is you have to choose the bleeding edge option in the Beta Testing
   Tools page…
