# WordPress cant select a database

 * when i try to access my wordpress admin page to install it onto my site, it says
   this
 * “We were able to connect to the database server (which means your username and
   password is okay) but not able to select the Blog database.”
 * aI dont know what the problem is. Can someone help me please?

 * You have the DB_NAME defined incorrectly in the wp-config.php file.

 * Often times the database isn’t just what you named it, it’s username_databasename.
   Check to make sure what your database name is.
