 * Hi,
 * I’m new to CMS stuff. I need to know of wordpress can meet all my requirements.
   I’d like to have the same functionality as found at:
 *  [http://www.codeproject.com](http://www.codeproject.com)
 * I want users to be able to submit articles with a file attachement which are 
   then automatically published (or if auto publishing is not possible, I should
   be able to create a new article space for it on the site). Once the article is
   posted, I’d like other users to be able to download any attachments, and rate
   the article, and post reply comments to it.

 * Can wordpress do this?

 * Yes – just give the users the ability to publish posts. Attatchments can be uploaded
   with the file manager/browser.
