# WordPress causes validation errors

 * Hello. As you might know, WordPress adds some `rel` values to certain links: `
   EditURI` (XML-RPC?), `home`, `category`, `tag`, or `generator`. However, the 
   W3C validator doesn’t like these values very much. Is there any way to fix this
   without removing the links altogether?

 * What standard are you trying to adhear to perhaps you need to use a looser standard,
   being honest, this validation failure doesn’t matter.
