 * Dear Woo Team,
 * I recently noticed a new column called **“WordPress.com Account”** under _WordPress
   Admin > Users_.
   It seems this column is being added by the WooCommerce plugin,
   but I have no idea how to disable or remove it.
 * Could you please advise?

 * Hi [@auditt](https://wordpress.org/support/users/auditt/)
 * I understand how that could be confusing — I checked on a test site as well,
   and I can confirm that the **“WordPress.com Account”** column is indeed added
   by WooCommerce. Since WooCommerce manages customer accounts, this column simply
   shows whether a customer (or user) on your site has their account connected to
   WordPress.com.
 * If you’d prefer not to see it in your Users list, you can easily hide it:
    1. While on the **Users** page in your WordPress dashboard, click on the **Screen
       Options** tab in the top right corner.
    2. In the panel that opens, uncheck the box for **WordPress.com account**.
    3. Click **Apply** and the column will no longer appear.
 * This way, the data is still there for WooCommerce to use, but it won’t clutter
   up your Users screen.
 * Let me know if you’d like to explore removing it with custom code, but for most
   cases hiding it through **Screen Options** is the simplest solution.

 * Hi [@lovingbro](https://wordpress.org/support/users/lovingbro/)
 * thanks a lot for your time and useful solution.
   I actually prefer to remove it
   per custom code in my function.php. Do you have a solution for that?Thank you
   very much.

 * Hi there!
 * Thanks for getting back to us! Out of curiosity, could you share why you’d like
   to remove the column using custom code instead of simply hiding it from the **
   Screen Options** tab by unchecking the box for “WordPress.com account”? That’s
   usually the quickest and safest way to manage it.
 * If you want to hide that column using custom CSS code, please note that we don’t
   provide support for writing or maintaining custom CSS. I can recommend [WooExperts](https://partners.woocommerce.com/English/marketplace/)
   and [Codeable.io](https://woocommerce.com/codeable/) as options for getting professional
   help. Alternatively, you can also ask your development questions in the [ WooCommerce Community Slack](https://woocommerce.com/community-slack/)
   as custom code falls outside our usual [scope of support](https://woocommerce.com/support-policy/#customization).

 * Hi,
 * Thanks for your input.
 * You asked why I want to remove it via custom code: it’s a feature my clients
   won’t use, and I don’t want to explain to each of them (and their staff) what
   the column does or how to get rid of it.
 * Since you’re effectively hijacking the WordPress Users table outside the Woo
   context to add a WordPress.com reference, it would be a nice move to let us disable
   it from within Woo or via a hook/filter.

 * Hi [@auditt](https://wordpress.org/support/users/auditt/),
 * Thanks again for sharing your thoughts! Your concern is completely valid, especially
   when managing client sites where clarity and simplicity are essential.
 * To clarify the purpose of the WordPress.com Account column: WooCommerce integrates
   with Jetpack’s extensive security and infrastructure features to help protect
   stores more effectively. This integration, which includes tools like backups,
   brute force protection, and secure authentication, requires a connected WordPress.
   com account to function.
 * That said, we understand that not every store owner or developer wants this feature
   visible, especially if it’s not relevant to their workflow. That’s why we’ve
   made it optional: you can hide the column via Screen Options, or remove it entirely
   using custom code.
 * As [@shahzeenfarooq](https://wordpress.org/support/users/shahzeenfarooq/) mentioned
   earlier, we don’t provide support for writing or maintaining custom code. However,
   since you’d like to pursue that route, you can work with a developer or explore
   platforms like [Codeable.io](https://codeable.io/), Upwork or [WooExperts](https://woocommerce.com/experts/)
   to get tailored assistance.
 * Thanks again for raising this so thoughtfully, and let us know if you need anything
   else.
