# wordpress.com connection error

 * Hello, everyone,
   Plugin is installed without any problems but with the first 
   step wordpress.com connection I get this error:
 * _Invalid request, please go back and try again.
   Error code: invalid\_clientError
   Message: Unknown client\_id.
 * As a solution I tried this:
   -Disabled the Site Kit, reinstalled.-All plugins 
   disabled and only tested with Woocommerce.
 * it does not work. What am I doing wrong?

 * As a first step, [please check your Jetpack connection](https://jetpack.com/support/reconnecting-reinstalling-jetpack/).
   Please note that [_Jetpack_ ](https://wordpress.org/plugins/jetpack/)is not _required_
   to use _Google Listings_ & Ads. But please note, _Google Listings_ & Ads will
   require you to connect your site with WordPress.com.
 * After that, is the issue still present?
