# WordPress database error

 * Firstly, thanks as always for a great plugin!
 * I have wp-debug set to true for an install and get this error message when deleting
   an entry from Participants Database:
 *     ```wp-block-code
       WordPress database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MariaDB server version for the right syntax to use near 'FROM wp_participants_database p WHERE p.id IN ('190')' at line 2]
       SELECT p. FROM wp_participants_database p WHERE p.id IN ('190')
       ```
   
 * The record seems to delete fine, this is just happening behind the scenes, and
   so I thought I’d report to see if it’s at least reproducible, etc.
 * Our system is:
 * Apache Version 2.4.57
   MySQL Version 10.6.15 (MariaDB)PHP 8.2

 * The same error is received since first of October 2023. I modified the CSV and
   used different methods but the error still exists.
 * Any hint or solution will be highly appreciated!

 * I’m taking another look at this…trying to get more information about this since
   I’m unable to duplicate the problem in my tests.
 * Where are you seeing the error? Do you have it in your error log, or are you 
   using the plugin debugger?
 * Doe the plugin print any feedback messages to the screen?
