• I’m a total novice to WP
I’ve followed the instructions very closely (several times).
Everything is on the server. I’ve run the install program http://example.com/blog/wp-admin/install.php (with my correct details)
I install all the information it asks for to set up the wp-config.php file and the system reports that it has connection to the server.
I follow to the next step with the title ” Welcome to the famous five minute WordPress installation process” and I add all the information required. I click the Install wordpress option at the bottom of the page.
A page then comes up with a series of errors starting with ” WordPress database error: [CREATE command denied to user ‘username’@’XX.XX.XXX.XXX’ for table ‘wp_users’]” I have verified that the database username is correct. I have not got a clue where this ip address comes from as it is not mine and not the ip address of the database.
At the bottom of this page it claims that the install is a success and invites me to “Log In” it then brings me back to the previous page.
I have replaced all the installation files and manually configured the ” wp-config.php” file. I get the same results.
    Any help appreciated
