# wordpress db error

 * I am trying to help a fellow marketer get his wordpress 2.9.2 working on his 
   hosting account.
    We have uploaded the wordpress files, created a mysql database
   and edited the wp-config file with the correct info inserted where needed. When
   we enter the domain-name/wp-admin/install.php link into his browser we get this
   message back: Already Installed You appear to have already installed WordPress.
   To reinstall please clear your old database tables first.
 * The database is empty and brand new. Why are we getting this error message and
   how can we fix it?

 * I think we found the problem. I beleive it is being caused by the expiration 
   of the domain name.(renewal was due on 05/05/10.)
    When my friend gets that renewed
   this weekend, we should have no problems.
