# WordPress Directory

 * I’m looking for a plugin that can organize content into a directory system. Something
   exactly like Mosets Tree for Joomla. I’ve tried WordPress Directory Plugin, Connections
   and have even started trying to build it in Pods CMS framework but its all shit.
   None of them offer a simple search filter. I need to be able to search / filter/
   sort my entries easily from the front end. I’ve built systems like this in Joomla
   that work perfectly but can’t seem to get what I need out of WordPress. Any ideas?
   Direction? Thoughts?

 * Pods has simple search filters available through the $pods->getFilters() method.

 * We’re working on adding more functionality in the filters for Pods 2.0, and filtering
   non-relationship based fields in the future. We have a single search field for
   text-based field in Pods 1.x right now, along with the ability to filter by relationship
   fields, which gives the user a drop-down to select from as they filter.
 * You can also roll your own filter form, and use the findRecords method to do 
   some very simple to complex filter functionality of your own.
