# wordpress disabled plugin

 * plug in was automatically deactivated on my site. When I try to activate it the
   following error message is displayed
    Plugin could not be activated because it
   triggered a fatal error. Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘?’ in /home/phuswl/
   public_html/wp/wp-content/plugins/enhanced-tooltipglossary/settings/Settings.
   php on line 32
 * No code has been edited by me. Problem appears to be the result of an automatic
   update of either WP or CM tooltip glossary plugin.

 * This line contains the PHP feature which is only available in PHP7. So that means
   your site is probably still running on a very old PHP 5.6. Please upgrade your
   PHP version and this error will be gone.

 * Are you sure it’s exactly the same problem? As the only reason why there could
   be such error on this particular line and file could be related to the version
   <7.0.0

 * Unfortunately, I can no longer determine what was the cause of the automatic 
   shutdown after the first update. It doesn’t automatically shut down now when 
   I activate the plugin, but the content is completely shifted. Even after the 
   new update. What could be the reason for this? My theme is Neve.

 * Neve, since it seems like you’re experiencing a different problem I invite you
   to open a separate thread and post the link to your site there in a secure way(
   so only we’ll be able to see it). If I can look at it perhaps I’d be able to 
   see what’s going on.
