# wordpress does not connect with database

 * hello.
    I restored my root folder from my backup with filezilla. but now all 
   my site content, pages and so, are missing. my hosting company says that the 
   database file is OK but wordpress is not connecting with it. but they couldn’t
   say why. they also say the wp-config file is ok need Urgent help please meitav

    Thanks for your answer. i managed to restore the site content by re copying
   the wp-config file. but now there is no head picture or backround picture. when
   i try to upload picture i get this message: Catchable fatal error: Object of 
   class stdClass could not be converted to string in D:\domains\meitavhashemeshcoil\
   meitav-hashemesh.co.il\wwwroot\wp-includes\theme.php on line 799 site url:[http://www.meitav-hashemesh.co.il](http://www.meitav-hashemesh.co.il)
