# WordPress doesn’t work!

 * Hi Guys,
 * Or more precisely, my WordPress Blog doesn’t communicate properly!
 *  New posts placed on my blog at
    [http://walking-languedoc.com/blog/](http://walking-languedoc.com/blog/)
 *  are not being RSS fed so no-one is receiving them. Why is this? Is it because
   I work in a version of WordPress that is now outdated? 2.6.2?
    Or is it something
   else?
 *  I havent upgraded for fear of it taking a day to do so and lots of frustration
   to boot!
 *  I set up a google alert for key phrases/tags a long time ago and my posts, containing
   these tags, are not sent to me!
 * By the way, this is the forth time I have posted this problem without it being
   resolved. Maybe if I entitle the query “Pamela Anderson Undressed” I might get
   more interest?

 * Just fyi, if you put RSS issue or something similar in the title, you are more
   likely to get help and later, it will be more useful to everyone who might have
   the same issue when searching.
 * Not sure what you mean by “RSS fed”? You mean no one is requesting your feed 
   or you can’t request it? You might want to submit your site to Google and also
   use some sort of SEO plugin to be sure that you don’t have a “no follow” command
   keeping bots and engines from indexing and following your posts.
 * Anyway, that’s where I’d start AND I’d title my help requests with something 
   less generic than “WordPress don’t work”.. oh, and use tags like “RSS” for the
   post.

 * Thanks, ikt’s nice to get a reply. However, my 3 previous attempts to get one
   all contained RSS in the title, so I went for a new approach on my 4th posting!
 * FYI, my site ranks well with Google and the first two blog postings were received
   back by me via Google alerts. Subsequent ones have not, so something’s changed.
   I can only imagine it’s the version I’m using being out of date or an RSS feed
   problem. Either way, the WordPress blog is failing to do what it should – communicate.
