# WordPress Export Not Exporting Date/Time

 * We’re moving our wordpress site to another server and I’m trying to export our
   calendar events. I’m able to export the events into an xml file, but when I import
   them into my new site they don’t have dates/times associated (which sort of defeats
   the purpose).
 * Any ideas on a fix for this?

 * No need to export the events if you are going to move the database. But if you
   want to export events, please use the .ics format, not xml.
